Something not working, or just a question? Write to us. A person reads every message and answers, usually within a day.
It helps to include: what you were trying to do, what happened instead, the name of the game if it’s about a particular table, and your phone model. A screenshot is gold.
Quick answers
I got an invite link. What do I do with it?
Tap it. If you have Sharp Sparrow, it opens straight to the table and you take your seat. If you don’t have it yet, the link offers to get you the app first, and your seat will be waiting when you open it. If it’s been a while, the invite may have expired — ask your friend to send a fresh one.
I’m not getting “your turn” notifications.
Check that notifications are allowed for Sharp Sparrow in your phone’s Settings, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn’t quieting them. You’ll never get a buzz for a table you’re already looking at. If notifications still don’t arrive, write to us with your phone model and we’ll look at it from our side.
Sign-in isn’t working.
Sharp Sparrow signs you in with Apple or Google; there’s no separate password to forget. If a sign-in doesn’t finish, close the app fully and try again. If it keeps failing, tell us which button you tapped and what you saw — that’s usually enough for us to fix it quickly.
The game did something I didn’t expect.
American Mahjong has a lot of table rules, and we try to play them straight. If a call, a pass, or a win looked wrong, send us the game name and roughly when it happened. We can replay the table move by move and tell you exactly what the rule was — or fix it if we got it wrong.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open You and choose Delete account. That permanently removes your account and profile. Games you played keep an anonymous record so your friends’ histories stay intact. If you can’t get into the app, email us from the address on your account and we’ll take care of it.
Is there a cost?
Sharp Sparrow is free to play, with no ads. Tile sets and table mats in the Store are free as well.
